Hardly a week goes by when you won’t see a Ferrari or two having PPF applied at the Wombat PPF workshops here in Kent. We regularly have Ferraris sent to us from both Ferrari dealers and private Ferrari owners all looking to protect their huge investments! The Ferrari TDF was both fun and challenging to apply PPF too with its unique and aggressive design throwing all manner of materials at you from carbon, aluminium, and fibreglass. The Ferrari TDF has overly aggressive curves, vents, door sills, air intakes, mirror housings, bonnet scoops and light surrounds making the fitting of PPF somewhat daunting for the uninitiated! However, after 20 years of fitting PPF to some of the world’s most expensive supercars, we were ready for the challenge. As with all our PPF installation, even on new cars, we carried out a full paint correction procedure to eliminate road dirt, oils marks and general bugs. This part of the PPF application project was followed by a vehicle detail and finally the PPF was applied using with XPEL gel and slip solutions to aid in seamless fitting.
